Once without God.

Once without hope.

Once far from any heavenly promise.

Apart from the blessed nation.

Yet by one sacrifice,

By one Lamb,

I am redeemed.

Now His God is my God.

Now His Father is also my Father.

Now coheir with Him.

Now sit together with Him.

Now one with Him.

Although not God, although created, although lowly, yet You love and treasure me. Not just as whom You've created, but as Your only beloved son. 

Better than Adam, glorious than the angels. 

All will admire and praise us that God and man can be as one.
